i pray for wisdom and overstanding

so last night we went to this swanky wine bar on the outer skirts of the town.  one of the boys in our program (we have 12 boys total.. and 3 are named peter. crazy) well his host dad is literally the definition of cool. like when you see him, your first immediate thought.. is wow, this guy exudes coolness.  he's probably in his 50s or so and he likes to jam.  so nearly everyone from our school shows up at vinomania. this tiny chic little wine bar where they host live music on saturdays. the host dad was jamming out on percussion while 2 boys from england played the guitar and sang.  they played the rolling stones, the doors, otis redding, and the beatles. oh my, come together was so great. and we all sat around, along with about 30 other people all crammed into the tiny bar and just enjoyed the music, appreciated the culture and sipped on our wine. i must admit that was my first time appreciating a glass of wine on a night out and it is definitely at the top of the list for favorite nights thus far.  all i could think the whole time was how much my parents would abolsutely LOVE it. great music, cool atmosphere and GREAT wine! i bought a glass of red that ended actually being double the price of the bottle we drank later that night. so backwards. the bottle was 1.19euros .. and the glass was 2.90. still delicious.
